Lt Marshal Varius played over the vox-transmission again. His whitening knuckles the only outward sign of the mounting rage within. That damnable greenskinned had the guile to demand his surrender. Surrender! A proud son of Auronis never surrendered! He would show that impudent little fungus that the only way its feeble little mind could understand!

"Colonel Pratus, how are events proceeding on Vitorinia?"

"Forces in the Southern Plains were decimated in the initial invasion, though sporadic resistance has been reported. Theater Command is feeding in penal forces to slow down the enemy advance before it hits the defences across the Acaris River."

"Ah good, we may wipe the scum from our ranks yet. How long till they reach the main line?"

"At current rate of advance... about 3 weeks"

"well no reason to hold our boys back then. I think its time we extended our control in this sector."

"What did you have in mind,sir?"

"The greenskins have made a critical mistake in revealing the location of their fleetbase, let us punish them for it. Ready the elite regiments and contact the Macbeth. I'm sure Fleet-Commander Hayase will be more than happy to get retribution on the beasts that are raiding her supply convoys"

"Good. Colonel you are dismissed"

RIGHT! Dis is da Warlord Bazzak! We've bin fightin' on da pretty green world for ages and it's bin a ruddy good scrap! Fing is, see, sum of da ladz are gettin' a bit bored wit fightin' you humie ladz, stickin' up the back and shootin' us wit ya 'urty las-gubbinz and not gettin' in good 'n close fer a nice punch-up. So, I was finkin', 'ow about youse humies...wot?

A guide to the Vitor Sub-Sector

well now seems a good time to introduce you all to the Vitor Sub-Sector, on the fringe of Ultima Segmentum nestled between the Auronis Sub-Sector and Tau Space.

Vitor Sub-Sector

Vitor is named after its most productive Planet Vitorinia which was only recently wrested from the clutches of Waaagh! Bazzak by Battleforce Justicar and Taskforce Draco of the Salamanders Chapter. It has undergone rapid growth as imperial forces use it as a relay point to drive deeper into the expance.

Von Falkhan's World is a Feudal World, deeply loyal to the Imperium which has only recently had contact re-established with the Imperium Propper.

AV-143 is a Deathworld covered in deep impenatrable jungle and home to ancient ruins of great importance to the Adeptus Mechanicus. It is contested by both Ork and Imperial forces, though the greenskins have the upper hand.

Bazzak's world is a harsh desert planet that has not seen the light of the Imperium in over 3 millenia, as you might expect its covered in orks.

Da Ship- Da Ship is an Ork Space Hulk that is the nexus for Bazzak's raiding fleets, its continued raids on imperial supply convoys have been a thorn in the Imperium side for the entire Campaign.

Also this is our first post as a member of the From the Warp (FtW) Blogging Group (Yay!).

Admin Pants? What is this?!

As was said above, this will be the most awesome blog ever, with massive battles, larger-than-life heroes, despicable villains, explosions, nail-biting finishes, more explosions, staunch defenders, ravenous attackers, and did I mention explosions?

Basically, either once or twice a week, expect an update with a battle report and background information on who's attacking where, why, and what it'll mean for the campaign. Inserted into the narrative will be details about each force, how they started, and their motivations.

I'll be taking the role of the Orks invading the system under freebootin' Warlord "Fingaz" Bazzak and his ragtag bunch of outcasts and misfits. I will also be controlling the Hive Mind of Hive Fleet Collosus, thought to have been utterly destroyed when it first was discovered in Imperial space, it has risen again to strike first at the Vitor Subsector to scour the planets of their delicious biomass before moving on to other, juicier targets.

Although my compatriot Klemanius may wear the Admin pants, be aware that they are 19th century pinstriped pantaloons, which while being rather outdated, apparently are quite comfy and silk-lined.

Well as the title suggests, welcome!
Klemanius Here, admin and creater of this lowly blogspot.

This will be a somewhat continuous blog detailing my and my regular opponents missadventures in the wide world of Warhammer 40 Thousand, and the desperate battles of the forces fighting over the Vitor Subsector.

Expect excitting battle reports, campaign developments, army backgrounds and perhapse the odd painting article from yours truly and my co contributor Chatawax (but we all know who's wearing the admin pants don't we?)
